Ash is a freelance adventure journalist specialising in global expeditions, including polar travel, Arctic journeys, long-distance trekking, and kayaking adventures. He reports regularly for ExplorersWeb and other international publications, and provides expert commentary across radio, television, podcasts, and live events. Ash is a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society and The Explorers Club. Alongside his journalism, he is a Research Fellow in Public Health at the University of Leicester, UK.
